solarlight offers an initial NOCPCin of 1500 hours, while PV-CNT technology offers an initial NOCPCin of 2000 hours. To get an idea, today the average NOCPCin is 0.95 years for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Chinese grid-connected PV modules.
Additionally, NOCPCin is determined by examining several factors such as performance-free voltage, and such PV modules should be protected from severe daily temperature changes, long exposure to strong winds and higher electrical and mechanical loads.
Next, solarlight aims to develop PV modules with high insolation (0.24kWh/m2/s in general), which is three times higher than conventional PV modules, and at least five times higher than PERC monocrystalline PV modules. In addition, solarlight plans to complete two-dimensional cell etching in order to further improve the quality of NOCPCin and monocrystalline NOCPCin, while reducing the size of the interdigitated solar cells (ISCs) to improve module power conversion efficiency.

Specifications and dimensions
For product comparison, when compared to modern-day Tier-1 solar PV modules, the NOCPCin module size is slightly bigger, slightly higher cost per watt and slightly lower power generation efficiency.
